Cookies also allow us to see if a visitor has seen specific pages and advertisements, to determine frequency of website or page visits, and to provide advertising. Non-personal information such as browser type, operating system and other information may be collected during visitors’ use of the Platform and this information may be used by us to measure the number of visitors to the Platform. Cookies and related technologies play an important role in helping us provide the Platform and related services in a personal, effective and safe manner.

We may change the cookies periodically as we improve or add to our Platform or otherwise modify our Services and we will update this Cookie Policy accordingly to reflect all such changes.

3. COOKIES WE USE AND TYPES OF COOKIES

A. Who places the cookies and how long they last:

The following describes who places cookies:

First-Party Cookies

First-party cookies are cookies issued from our domain (run by Daily Shot) that are generally used to identify language and location preferences or render basic Platform functionality. These are necessary cookies, without which the Platform won’t work properly or be able to provide certain features and functionalities. Some of these may be manually disabled in your browser, but may affect the functionality of the Platform.

Third-Party Cookies

Third-party cookies belong to and are managed by other parties, such as our business partners or service providers. These cookies may be required to use portions of the Platform, to perform analytics related to the Platform or to allow for some advertising and marketing. These cookies may also be related to the storage of information, or access to information that is already stored, on your device such as advertising identifiers, device identifiers, cookies, and similar technologies.

The following describes how long cookies will remain on your device:

Cookies are managed by web servers. The lifespan of a cookie may vary significantly, depending on the purpose for which it is placed. Some cookies are used exclusively for one session (session cookies) and are not retained once the user leaves the Platform and some cookies are retained and reused whenever the user returns to that Platform (persistent cookie). Browser cookies can be deleted by a user at any time.

Session Cookies

Session cookies are temporary cookies that are used to remember you during the course of your visit to the Platform, and they expire when you close the web browser or exit the Platform.

Persistent Cookies

Persistent cookies are used to remember your preferences within the Platform and remain on your desktop or mobile device even after you close your browser, exit an app or restart your computer. We use persistent cookies to analyze user behavior and establish visit patterns so that we can improve our Platform functionality for you and our other visitors. These cookies also allow us to serve you with targeted advertising and measure the effectiveness of our Platform functionality and advertising.

This allows us to provide a user-friendly experience and quickly identify and fix any problems that may arise.

Our Platform uses Google Analytics cookies. Google Analytics cookies monitor traffic levels, search queries and visits to our Platform. These cookies enable Google to determine whether you are a return visitor to the Platform, to identify the site from which you first came to the Platform, and to track the pages that you visit during your session. They also tell us the city where you are located. For more information about Google Analytics cookies, please see Google’s cookie terms and privacy terms.
